About Meridian Advisors

Preparation Before the Transaction. Experience Through the Transaction.

Meridian Advisors exists to help owners of privately held businesses prepare for and navigate the decisions surrounding a future sale.

Some owners come to Meridian ready to explore the market.

Others come years earlier because they want to understand whether their business is actually prepared to be bought.

Both conversations begin with the same thing:

Understanding the business, the owner's objectives, and what comes next.

Philosophy

The Business Comes Before the Transaction.

Going to market is not automatically the right first step. A process launched before the business is understood and prepared can expose issues at the worst possible moment — in front of a buyer.

Sometimes the right first step is understanding and preparation. Sometimes it is a disciplined sale process. Meridian's role is to help the owner see which, and why.

Meet Jeff Winaker

Jeff is Meridian's primary public-facing advisor. He works directly with owners on M&A and transaction preparation — from the first conversation about readiness or a potential sale through the decisions that follow.

Owners work with Jeff personally. Meridian is the firm; Jeff is the experienced advisor they come to know and rely on throughout the process.

Working With Meridian

One Transaction. Multiple Disciplines.

Business transactions frequently involve several professional disciplines, each with its own role.

  • M&A Advisors
  • Attorneys
  • Accountants
  • Tax Professionals
  • Lenders
  • Wealth & Estate Advisors

Meridian can work alongside an owner's existing professional advisors as appropriate. Those advisors remain independent of Meridian and continue to serve the owner directly.
